Microsecond reaction times

AMAP-ADS detects and neutralizes threats within microseconds. This allows even high velocity threats to be reliably intercepted. The reaction time within the microsecond range is achieved through the precise interaction between the system components.

AMAP-ADS is the Urban Warfare System

AMAP ADS is the one and only system that can defeat any threat which is launched from closed distances closer than at 10-15m. This is achieved by a Micro-Second System which works with ultra short System Reaction Time (SRT).

Low collateral damage

AMAP-ADS includes directed energy and fragment free CM which mean that it creates extremely low collateral damage.

Multi-hit protection

AMAP-ADS has a redundancy capability. The sensors overlap to allow one sensor to take control of a sector if another is already engaged. The overlapping sensors and the directed CM provide a simultaneous defeat capability.

High tactical mobility with light vehicles

Although conventional passive armor concepts provide protection, they also restrict mobility. The low weight of AMAPADS means that it can also efficiently protect light and medium-weight armored vehicles. The possibility to deploy vehicles with increased mobility under severe circumstances opens up new tactical opportunities for a large variety of operations.

Environmental qualification trials (EQT)

Components and full vehicle integration are hardened and tested against all relevant MIL or STANAG standards.

EMI/EMC

Components and full vehicle integration are hardened and tested against all relevant MIL or STANAG standards, data transfers via optic lines.

Low power consumption

By design AMAP-ADS has a low power consumption.

AMAP-ADS has a low system weight

145 - 600 kg depending on vehicle class.
